At H1Z1 the producer promises that the game is still alive.
H1Z1 “Just Survive” is the MMO half of the zombie game. H1Z1 entered Early Access in early 2015, during which it had quite a good hype going. However, that has dwindled over the months and years. Many consider H1Z1 to be a typical “Steam Early Access” flash in the pan. Huge hype at the beginning, then it fizzles out and the game stagnates.
The producer of H1Z1 has now come forward and said: No, we are not dead. We are just getting started.
We are not dead – we have just been working
The long pause in development is justified by the producer as having worked on a patch and wanting to release it only when it was as bug-free as possible. Two months ago, an update was released that they were not satisfied with in hindsight. They wanted to avoid that now.
Part of the team has only been working on the future of the game in recent months, and they are already looking forward to telling players what they have planned.
