The survival MMO H1Z1 has mainly addressed the popular battle royale mode in a new patch and introduced a provisional measure to make it easier for players to dismantle a home base.
The battle royale mode in H1Z1 continues to enjoy great popularity. The latest patch mainly focused on making it smoother and clearer. This resolves some issues with matchmaking. The queues should also work now.
Developers are still greatly troubled by the building and refining of player bases. Here they introduce a new craftable item, a “Demolition Hammer,” a “Sledgehammer.” It only works on self-built structures. It efficiently destroys them. However, it does not deal damage to other buildings. For that, players might want to resort to a crowbar.
The patch also changes several aspects of weapon balance and the crafting recipes in H1Z1, resulting in a more frequent return of an empty water bottle when crafting something.
The new and improved battle royale mode is to be celebrated over the weekend from Friday night to Sunday night. Anyone participating in a battle royale during this time will receive a special item afterwards.
