The story in the fantasy MMO Guild Wars 2 about the Living World is taking a break until the new year.
If anyone thought that the saga about the Elder Dragon Mordremoth, the dragon egg, and the pending catastrophes and catalytic events would come to an end soon (final battle under the Christmas tree with subsequent expansion announcement right on New Year’s Eve included), then, yes … they will be mistaken.
In general, one could feel disappointed while waiting for the GW2 expansion: It is still worryingly quiet on the front, although something like this is sometimes teased and fans are counting on it and hoping to hear about an expansion soon, but here we know as much as we did twelve months ago: It would actually be logical, one hears nothing and ArenaNet sends no signals.
Anyway: The Living World of Guild Wars 2 is on a break until January 13, 2015. Between the years, the new “test” season in PvP will start and there will be a Christmas celebration, as ArenaNet announces.
