The story of Guild Wars 2 continues, as you can now play the third season of the Living Story of Guild Wars 2. But in addition to the new season, there are other innovations in ArenaNet’s online role-playing game.
The plant dragon Mordremoth was defeated in the final battle of the expansion Heart of Thorns, but as so often, that does not mean everything is alright. In the first episode “Out of the Shadows” of the new season of the Living Story, new problems already arise for our heroes and their friends. An old threat stirs and promises nothing good for the future of Tyria.

That’s the new season of the Living Story. New episodes are expected to be released every two to three months from now on, and anyone who logs in during that time will receive them for free. Those who miss it will unfortunately have to pay. Additionally, you need the Heart of Thorns expansion to play the third season of the story. However, those without the expansion can still log in and at least pre-order the current episodes until Heart of Thorns is purchased.
New Fractals and PvP Maps
Besides the new season of the Living Story, there are also other new contents for Guild Wars 2. One of these is a long-awaited new fractal map that we can play in the Mists. Additionally, the fractals “Snowblind” and “Swampland” have been revised.
Furthermore, there is also a new PvP map called “Vengeance of the Capricorn”. For your information: “Capricorn” here is the name of a ship, not a vengeful mountain goat named “Vengeance”. That vessel attacks a coastal settlement, creating a lot of action during the already fast-paced PvP battles on the new map. In addition to the innovations mentioned above, game balance has also been revised and adjusted.
