In the fantasy MMORPG Guild Wars 2 players can now encounter an extraordinary NPC. ArenaNet has integrated a deceased player into the world.
Several months ago, the story of Alexandra, who died during childbirth, was shared in Guild Wars 2. In the game, she was known as “Hiralyn” and she particularly enjoyed picking up rabbits and wandering through GW2 with them, preferring a two-handed hammer as her main weapon.
Game designer Mike Zarodonj has since worked on giving Hiralyn a second home as a small side project in his spare time: She now waits in Cragstead. Not only has she gathered rabbits around her, but she also has a touching dialogue.
