In Guild Wars 2, a new raid wing opens up, unleashing a rather slow boss enemy. We have the details.
The Sloth and Some Worms
Guild Wars 2 opened its newest raid wing, the Salvation Pass, yesterday, on March 8, 2016. In the depths of the Maguuma jungle, a strange magical force is at work, constantly creating new dangers in the form of horrific creatures. The latest spawn of this process is the gigantic sloth and raid boss Slothasor. Generally, one doesn’t think of a sloth as an acute threat, but a glance at the “face” of the beast is enough to send a shiver down players’ spines.

The monster doesn’t come alone, but summons a whole host of worms that additionally target the raid, inflict negative effects, and poison again upon their demise. It will likely take a few days for the professional guilds to publish a reasonable strategy for this fight.
New challenges in Guild Wars 2 also come with plenty of new rewards. This happens in the form of various weapons, new skins for the weapons, and even a mini-Slothasor as a companion. It’s quite cute, isn’t it?
