The MMORPG Guild Wars 2 introduced two new legendary accessories with the update “Visions of the Past”: Transcendence and Conflux. We will show you how to craft them.
What are these accessories? The two legendary accessories allow you to switch attributes with just one click. Additionally, both have a special aura that lets you instantly recognize that you own one of the accessories:
- Transcendence is a legendary amulet that you can earn through PvP.
- Conflux is a legendary ring available only through World vs. World.
In this guide, we will tell you which tasks need to be completed to obtain the Legendaries.
How to craft Transcendence
To craft Transcendence, you must go into PvP. You need to play both in the regular season and participate in tournaments. You will also need additional items.
As a special effect, Transcendence brings a sphere that orbits around you. Inside reflects an image of the PvP. You can see the effect best in the video by YouTuber Roelski, from which the title image of the post is taken:
Step 1 – The Achievements
First, you need to complete two achievements that reward you with important items. You can find them in the category Competition -> PvP Conqueror:
- Emblem of Tournament Victory – Win 20 games in daily or monthly tournaments
- Emblem of Victory – Win 120 games in the ranked list during a PvP season
As a reward, you will receive items that correspond to the names of the respective achievements. It is important for the tournament victories that a tournament takes place every 3 hours. There, you will play multiple rounds directly, as the Swiss system now applies in PvP.
This step, along with farming the Ascended Shards of Glory during the PvP seasons, is the most time-consuming in crafting Transcendence.
Where is the PvP Vendor? For the following steps, you will frequently need to visit one of the three PvP vendors. They are all located at the waypoint “Market” in the Heart of the Mists:
Step 2 – The Precursor Slumbering Transcendence
In the second step, an initial legendary accessory is crafted, which still does not provide any special effect. For this, you need several “sub-steps”.
Sub-step 1 – Salt-forged Mist Diamond
First, you combine the Emblem of Victory from Step 1 with:
- 1 Phial of Salt – PvP amulet known from the legendary back
- 1 Mist Diamond – Can be purchased from the PvP vendor for the following items:
- 25 League Tickets
- 250 Ascended Shards of Glory
- 250 Shards of Glory
- 1 Mist-enhanced Orichalcum – Can be purchased for the following items at the PvP vendor:
- 250 Orichalcum Bars
- 250 Ascended Shards of Glory
- 250 Shards of Glory
This is how you can obtain the Salt-forged Mist Diamond.
Sub-step 2 – Gift of the Champions
In the next sub-step, you create the Gift of the Champions. For this, you need:
- 1 Salt-forged Mist Diamond – From sub-step 1
- 1 Gift of the Mist – This item is crafted in the Mystic Forge from the following components:
- 1 Gift of Battle
- 1 Gift of Glory
- 1 Gift of War
- 1 Cube of Stabilized Dark Energy
- Gift of Martial Devotion – This item is crafted in the Mystic Forge from the following components:
- 1 Report of League Participation – 20 League Tickets
- 1 Star of Glory – 400 Ascended Shards of Glory
- 1 Bunch of Condensed Ghost Energy – 100 Ghost Shards
- 1 Glass of Distilled Glory – 1,000 Shards of Glory
- 1 Tome of the Mist – For 100 Tomes of Knowledge at the PvP vendor
Sub-step 3 – Slumbering Transcendence
In the final sub-step, and thus for the crafting of the first legendary accessory, you need 4 items that you combine in the Mystic Forge:
- Gift of the Champions – From sub-step 2
- Mist Pendant – An Ascended accessory
- You can buy it for 175 Ascended Shards of Glory and 170 Shards of Glory at the PvP vendor
- or for 260 WvW Combat Tickets and 250 Memories of Battle at the WvW vendor
- or for 100 Flawless Fractal Relics and 2 Integrated Fractal Matrices at the vendor in the Fractals.
- Mystical Tribute – This item is crafted in the Mystic Forge from the following components:
- 2 Gifts of Condensed Magic
- 2 Gifts of Condensed Power
- 77 Mystical Four-Leaf Clovers
- 250 Mystical Coins
- Gift of Battle Mastery – This item is crafted in the Mystic Forge from the following components:
- 5 Certificates of Contribution (available for purchase at the PvP vendor)
- 2 Vision Crystals
- 250 Shards of Glory
- 1× Perfect Mist Core
Congratulations, you are now in possession of a Legendary, but the cool effect is still missing.
Step 3 – Crafting the final accessory
In the next step, you will gather the last components for crafting Transcendence, which will be combined again in the Mystic Forge:
- Emblem of Tournament Victory – You already received this in Step 1.
- Essence of Lamentation Elegance – You can obtain this item from the Laurel vendor for 3 Laurels.
- 250 Unidentified Colors – You can either collect them yourself or purchase them cheaply from the trading post.
- Slumbering Transcendence – Crafted in Step 2.
When you combine the 4 items, you will have crafted the completed legendary amulet in PvP. Congratulations!
How to craft Conflux
To craft Conflux, you must go into World vs. World. You especially need to collect many Combat Tickets and participate in captures. You will also need additional items.
As a special effect, the accessory displays a sphere that circles around you and bears an image from the WvW. The effect is better shown in the video by YouTuber Roelski:
Step 1 – The Achievements
To craft Conflux, you must complete two achievements. You can find them in the category Competition -> World vs. World :
- Emblem of the Conqueror – Capture 100 objectives in WvW
- Emblem of Vengeance – Defeat 100 players in WvW
As a reward, you will receive items that correspond to the names of the respective achievements. This step, along with the Combat Tickets, is the most time-consuming in crafting Conflux.
Where is the WvW Vendor? For the following steps, you will frequently need to visit a WvW vendor. He is always located in your base in every borderland and is called: “Legend Commander Warreaper:
Step 2 – The Precursor Slumbering Conflux

Sub-step 1 – War Commendation
First, you combine the Emblem of the Conqueror from Step 1 with:
- 1 Gift of Warfare – This item is crafted in the Mystic Forge from the following components:
- 1 Mystic Essence of Strategy – 1,000 Honor Badges
- 1 Mystic Essence of Hostility – 500 Evidence of Heroism
- 1 Mystic Essence of Bloodshed – 500 Memories of Battle
- 1 Mystic Essence of Eradication – 350 Combat Tickets
- 1 Mist Pearl – Can be bought for 750 Combat Tickets and 250 Memories of Battle from the WvW vendor
- 1 Mist-enhanced Mithril – Can be bought for 750 Combat Tickets and 250 Memories of Battle from the WvW vendor.
This is how you obtain the item War Commendation.
Sub-step 2 – Gift of the World
From the War Commendation, you now build the Gift of the World:
- 1 War Commendation – From sub-step 1
- 1 Gift of the Mist – This item is crafted in the Mystic Forge from the following components:
- 1 Gift of Battle
- 1 Gift of Glory
- 1 Gift of War
- 1 Cube of Stabilized Dark Energy
- 1 Gift of War Offering – This item is crafted in the Mystic Forge from the following components:
- 1 Certificate of Honor – 500 Honor Badges
- 1 Certificate of Heroism – 250 Evidence of Heroism
- 1 Bunch of Condensed Ghost Energy – 100 Ghost Shards
- 250 Memories of Battle
- 100 Ice Rune Stones – Each for 1 Gold at the vendor in Iceclaw Bend.
Sub-step 3 – The Precursor Slumbering Conflux
In the final sub-step, and thus for the crafting of the first legendary accessory, you will need 4 items that you combine in the Mystic Forge:
- Gift of the World – From sub-step 2
- Mist Band (Infused) – An Ascended Ring
- Mystical Tribute – This item is crafted in the Mystic Forge from the following components:
- 2 Gifts of Condensed Magic
- 2 Gifts of Condensed Power
- 77 Mystical Four-Leaf Clovers
- 250 Mystical Coins
- Gift of Conquest – You will obtain this item when you combine the following 4 in the Mystic Forge:
- 1 Legendary Thorn
- 4 Gift of Battle
- 250 Memories of Battle
- 2 Vision Crystals
Step 3 – Crafting the final accessory
In the next step, you will gather the last components for crafting Conflux, which will also be combined again in the Mystic Forge:
- Emblem of Vengeance – You already received this in Step 1.
- Blueprint for Alpha Siege Golem – You can quickly buy this item from the trading post
- 250 Unidentified Colors – You can either collect them yourself or purchase them cheaply from the trading post.
- Slumbering Conflux – Crafted in Step 2.
When you combine the 4 items, you will have crafted the completed legendary amulet in WvW. Congratulations!
