Next Tuesday, all players of Guild Wars 2 can get a first taste of the new PvP mode “Stronghold,” which will actually be available much later with “Heart of Thorns“.
On April 14 at 9 PM, all players who already have a GW2 account can experience the new mode up close for 24 hours. Anyone who wants to participate in this somewhat unusual “open beta” of a game mode needs to just find their character in the “Mists” and queue up for an unranked arena match. Shortly thereafter, you should receive an invitation for the “Battle for Champion’s Dawn” and take part in the combat as a great strategist, sneaky assassin, or powerful war machine.
