Guide to the Halloween Achievements
What achievements are there for Halloween? The achievements for Halloween are divided into three categories:
- One-time achievements – which can only be completed once
- Halloween Rituals – which can be completed anew every year
- Mad Wardrobe – a one-time achievement series for special skins

The new achievements from 2021
The Outlaw Prince: For this hidden achievement, you must complete a small jumping puzzle in the Labyrinth of the Mad King. We show you in this video what you need to do:
Court Service: Collecting Evidence: For this achievement, you need to complete five other tasks.

- Expert Guide to Tower Climbing – Earned with the achievement Court Service: Terror of the Tower

Below, we explain how you can complete the five achievements.
Court Service: The King’s Guest: For this achievement, you must complete four tasks:
- In the first step, you must overhear a conversation between the Mad King and Palawa Joko. This takes place in the northern part of the labyrinth.
- After that, you must visit Magistra Tassi in Lionsgate and inform her about the conversation.
- As a third step, you must speak to Brigadier General Kernel also in Lionsgate.
- Now speak to Kernel again to complete the achievement.
Court Service: Unraveling the Labyrinth: For this achievement, you must complete 100 door or boss events in the labyrinth.
Court Service: Terror of the Tower: For this achievement, you must open chests in the Clocktower jumping puzzle. The smaller ones give a few points of progress, the large final chest gives significantly more and can also be opened on each run.
Court Service: Race to the Abyss: For this achievement, you need to collect 100 points by completing mount races.
Court Service: Respect to the King: For this achievement, you need to earn 100 points either through the dungeon “Ascent into Madness” or through “The Mad King says.”
Court Service: Where the Mad Dare: This achievement can only be completed when you have already completed the previous Court Service achievements. This is because you need to speak to 5 NPCs, who only have the appropriate dialogue if you have completed the relevant achievement.
In this video, you will learn which NPCs you need to visit and where they are located:
Cat of the Labyrinth: This achievement is the last new one that was introduced in 2021. You need to find the cat Madame Cookie and give her 50 candy corn to receive a buff. The cat appears in different locations in the Labyrinth of the Mad King.
The old achievements before 2021
Demon of the Drifter: For this achievement, you must complete a racing event for Halloween. It does not matter whether you visit the Mad King’s race track (a separate area) or complete the race in the Labyrinth of the Mad King.
Grace of the Mad King: For this achievement, you must open 50 candy corn bags. You can earn these as event rewards or buy them at the trading post.
Courtly Services: For this achievement, you need to commission services from the steward of the Mad King. You need to spend a total of 5 gold. You can find the steward in the middle of the labyrinth.
Pumpkin Carving: For this achievement, you must carve a total of 150 pumpkins.
Revenge, you rebellious rats!: For this achievement, you must defeat 150 rebels of the court of the mad. You will find them mainly in the labyrinth.
Close the doors: Complete 30 door events in the labyrinth of the mad king.
Under circumstances food-like: For this achievement, you must consume more than 150 candy corn in one day.
Ancient Grudge: For this achievement, you must defeat 150 servants of Palawa Joko. You can find them most easily in the areas of Season 4 of the Living World.
Mad Drifter: Complete the race event on the Mad King’s racetrack or the time trial in under a minute.
Demon of Drifting: Complete a round of the race event “Into Madness” or the time trial on the Mad King’s racetrack within the challenge time “Extreme”.
Mad Memories: This achievement belongs to a series of tasks. First, you must speak with Magistra Tassi in Lionsgate on the Piazza. The achievement series also includes “Mad Secrets,” “Mad Mementoes,” and “Mad Memorial.”

Competition of Kings: For this achievement, you must defeat Palawa Joko in the story of Season 4 of the Living World. The corresponding achievement is called “Come on in!” If you have already completed this, you only need to speak with Brigadier General Kernel in Lionsgate.
Mad Damage: For this achievement, you must first complete “Competition of Kings.” After that, you need to find 13 items.
Close the Death Gates: For this achievement, you need to first complete “Mad Damage.” Then you will need to speak with Brigadier General Kernel again.
Halloween Rituals – The annually repeatable achievements
Annual Rituals: For this achievement, you must complete the meta-event “Halloween Rituals.” The reward is 50 achievement points.
Halloween Rituals (annual): For this achievement, you must complete 9 of the 10 achievements marked with (annual) in parentheses. The reward is the new glove skins and the Chained chest.
Evening of the Mad King: For this achievement, you must complete the achievement “Halloween Terror” five times. Halloween Terror is the meta achievement among the daily achievements. It requires that you complete three of the five daily achievements.
Courtly Duties (annual): For this achievement, you need to play a round of “The Mad King says.”
Ascent into Madness (annual): For this achievement, you must complete the dungeon “Ascent into Madness” once.
Champion of the Clocktower: For this achievement, you must complete the jumping puzzle in the Clocktower of the Mad King. Here you can earn up to 25 achievement points.
Champion of the Labyrinth: For this achievement, you must defeat the bosses in the Labyrinth of the Mad King.
Herald Apprentice of the Mad King: For this achievement, you need to complete mount races during the Halloween event.
Herald of the Mad King (Intern): For this achievement, you must visit the race track of the Mad King and complete the mount races there.
Courtly Duties (annual): For this achievement, you must donate 5 gold at the tenth in the Labyrinth of the Mad King (they are located in the middle of the labyrinth).
Pumpkin Carving (annual): For this achievement, you must carve 100 pumpkins.
Master of the Labyrinth (annual): For this achievement, you must defeat all five champions in the Labyrinth of the Mad King.
New Life After Death for Quaggans: For this achievement, you must donate candy corn to Druuburt in Lionsgate.
Regular Racetrack Visitor (annual): For this achievement, you must complete 15 mount races during the Halloween event.
Sculpting Tour through Tyria: For this achievement, you must carve a total of 1,000 pumpkins in Tyria.
Regular of the Mad Inquisition: For this achievement, you must participate in several rounds of the Mad Inquisition.
Clocktower of the Mad King (annual): For this achievement, you must complete the Clocktower of the Mad King once.
Under circumstances food-like (annual): For this achievement, you must eat 300 candy corn.
Ancient Grudge (annual): For this achievement, you must defeat 100 servants of Palawa Joko.
Mad Racers (annual): Complete the mount race in the Labyrinth of the Mad King three times in under two minutes.
Way with the Door: For this achievement, you must complete 250 door events in the Labyrinth of the Mad King.
Mad Wardrobe – one-time
Courtly Duties: For this achievement, you must complete a round of “The Mad King says” in Lionsgate. As a reward, you will receive the Mad Hat.
Ascent into Madness: For this achievement, you must complete the dungeon “Ascent into Madness” once. As a reward, you will receive the Mad Coat.
Something good to eat: For this achievement, you must open 50 candy corn bags. These are dropped during the event or you can buy them at the trading post. As a reward, you will receive the Mad Gloves.
Master of the Labyrinth: For this achievement, you must defeat the three bosses in the labyrinth once. As a reward, you will receive the Mad Shoulders.
Clocktower of the Mad King: For this achievement, you must jump and successfully complete the Clocktower of the Mad King once. As a reward, you will receive the Mad Boots.
Mad Racers: For this achievement, you must complete the race event in the Labyrinth of the Mad King in less than two minutes. As a reward, you will receive the Mad Pants.
