Every year again, in October, the crazy King Thorn comes to Lion’s Arch and brings chaos and madness with him. The mad monarch was once a cruel despot, responsible for all kinds of atrocities, which is why the peoples of Tyria also celebrate a festival to placate his spirit.
Therefore, we can also participate in the spooky festival “Shadows of the Mad King” starting from October 18, 2016. Once again in the mix: the ridiculously difficult jumping puzzle around the enchanted Clock Tower and the dark labyrinth. Furthermore, there is the popular event around the mad king again.
Is the prince coming too?
This year we might even meet his no less crazy son, the Bloody Prince, again. ArenaNet at least hints at it in response to our inquiry, even though there is still no official confirmation.
As always, festive decorations in Lion’s Arch, mini-games, and loads of candy corn await. This candy makes us faster, and those who eat too much of it might end up throwing up! Preferably on the shoes of the Bloody Prince, which in the past even resulted in an achievement!
