With the upcoming addon Heart of Thorns, the world of Guild Wars 2 will become significantly larger. One of the most important features for many players will be the guild halls. New information on their usability has now been revealed.
Small guilds will not be left out
As the name of the game suggests, guilds are a crucial aspect of Guild Wars 2. With the upcoming expansion Heart of Thorns , the popular guild halls are making a return to the game. They were already present in the first part. Concerns have been raised in the forums that small guilds might have to hold back to take advantage of the new features.
ArenaNet has now denied this and clarified that guild halls (and the overall progress of a guild) are a feature for all players. Even if you are not in a guild, you will be able to visit the halls of friendly players. At the same time, you can assist players who are in a completely different guild by helping them complete guild quests.
While it may take a bit longer for small guilds to unlock the various bonuses, the system is being revamped so that even small player groups can achieve successes relatively quickly: They just need a bit more time than large groups.
The developers want to ensure that the new features are a benefit for all players, regardless of whether they are in a small, a huge, or not in any guild at all.
