In Guild Wars 2, a new collection has been released, through which you can earn a special item. The reward is called “Lion’s Pride” and is a pass that teleports you to old Lion’s Arch from anywhere. The item is highly popular. We will reveal how you can obtain it.
What must be done for success? You need to collect a total of six items:
- Pyro Gear
- Aetherblade Signet Ring
- Pavilion Champion’s Medal
- Withered Nightmare Thorn
- Breakbringer Drive Circuit
- Trail of Memories
You receive five of these items as a reward when you complete the meta achievement of the respective episode of Living World Season 1. The last item – the Trail of Memories – can be found in the final story mission “Meeting with the Zephyrites”. There, you need to talk to the Mist Stranger.
In the following, we explain to you how to complete the individual achievements. More about the return of the old Lion’s Arch:
Pyro Gear and the Mastery: Flame and Frost
How do I get the Pyro Gear? For this, you need to complete the 12 achievements from the category: Mastery: Flame and Frost:
- You already receive five achievements just for completing the story instances.
- Two additional achievements are there for completing the respective fractals of Flame and Frost.
- Two achievements are related to events in the Diessa Plateau.
The only complicated achievements are “A Heart for Ore”, “Fiery Monument”, and “Research Study 1”. For these three achievements, you need to find hidden items. Accordingly, we have provided you with a map of the instance “Fiery Forge” from the episode.
- The red markers are the ores from “A Heart for Ore”. There you will find all 16.
- From “Fiery Monument”, you will find only the mementos 1, 3, and 5 (yellow marker) in the instance. The 2 is located in the Black Citadel at the waypoint Ruins of Rin, the 4 is in Hoelkbrak at the waypoint of the Wolf, and the 6 in Lion’s Arch at the waypoint Eastern District.
- From “Research Study 1”, you will find the stories 5, 6, 7, and 8 out of 8 in the instance. The first three notes can be found in the instance “New Friends, New Enemies”, directly on the table in the command room. Note 4 is at the end of the instance “The Battle for Clifftop”.

Aetherblade Signet Ring and the Sky Pirates Mastery
How do I get the Aetherblade Signet Ring? For this item, you need to complete 15 achievements related to the Sky Pirates, the second episode of Living World 2:
- The first six achievements you complete automatically with the story.
- Two more achievements are obtained for completing the fractals “Captain Mai Trin” and “Aetherblade Refuge”.
- Two achievements are related to defeating an enemy within a time limit and completing a mission without dying.
- Two achievements are again related to events in the open world.
Somewhat tricky are the achievements “Research Study 2”, “Tassi Master”, and “Salvaging Valuables”, for which you need to find hidden items.
For Research Study 2, you need to find a total of 6 notes. Notes 3, 4, and 5 can be found in the story instance to Aetherblade Refuge (blue marker on the map). Notes 1 and 2 can be found in the dead-end bar in the instance “Cool-Headed”. Note 6 can be found in the dead-end bar in the instance “If Completed”.
For the achievement “Salvaging Valuables”, you need to find five chests in Aetherblade Refuge. We have marked them with red markers.

Pavilion Champion’s Medal and the Mastery Mechanical Chaos
How do I get the Pavilion Champion’s Medal? For this item, you need to complete 13 achievements related to the episode “Mechanical Chaos”:
- You receive five of these achievements automatically by completing the story instances.
- You get one achievement for completing the dungeon “Aetherpath in Twilight Garden”.
- Two achievements are related to events in the Gendarran Fields.
Especially difficult are the achievements “Research Study 3”, “Research Record 1”, and “Loot of Chaos”, for which you need to find hidden items.

Withered Nightmare Thorn and the Mastery Tower of Nightmares
How do I get the Withered Nightmare Thorn? For this item, you must complete 15 achievements in the episode Tower of Nightmares of Living World Season 1:
- You automatically complete six of these achievements with the story.
- For one achievement you need to complete the fractal “Thaumanova Reactor”.
- For one achievement you need to defeat the new Twisted Marionette.
- Two achievements are related to events in the Tower of Nightmares.
Tricky are here the achievements “Research Study 4”, “Research Record 2”, and “Tower of Treasures”, for which you need to find hidden items.

Breakbringer Drive Circuit and the Mastery Battle for Lion’s Arch
How do I get the Breakbringer Drive Circuit? For this item, you need to complete 18 achievements related to the episode “Battle for Lion’s Arch” from Living World Season 1:
- You complete the first eight achievements just by playing the story.
- One achievement is about completing the new attack mission “Storm Knights Prototypes”.
- Two achievements revolve around completing events during the battle for Lion’s Arch.
Complicated are especially the achievements “Research Study 5”, “Research Record 3”, “Hunter of Lost Parts II”, “Please Exit Here” and “No Betting Here”. For all these achievements, you need to find hidden items.
This map shows you the NPCs that you need to find in the instance “Escape from Lion’s Arch” for the two achievements “Please Exit Here” (red) and “No Betting Here” (blue). Important: For the first achievement, you also need to find any moa from the blue markers. However, you can complete both achievements at the same time.

Trail of Memories
How do I get the Trail of Memories? For this item, you must enter the last instance of the chapter “Battle for Lion’s Arch”. It is named “Meeting with the Zephyrites”. There, you need to talk to the Mist Stranger, who is waiting for you at the end of the instance.
Once you have completed all these tasks, you can visit the old Lion’s Arch again.
