The next episode of the Living World in Guild Wars 2 is on the horizon. With a new trailer, ArenaNet announces the release of “Our Guiding Star” featuring a total of six new contents.
The Story of the Patch: The trailer begins with the dragon dame Aurene. Since her birth, she has been by your side, and in the last episode of the living story, she showcased her power impressively. In the future, you will likely use her in battles against the great enemies, the Elder Dragons.
One of these beasts you might encounter in the upcoming episode. The Elder Dragon Kralkatorrik has “marked” the new area Jahai Cliffs. Therefore, his minions, the “Brandeds”, are already waiting for us there.
New Raid and new Legendary Weapon: Among the six new contents of the patch is the raid “Myth-Maker’s Gambit”, where you will confront a familiar, powerful being. Zommoros, the Keeper of the Mystic Forge, has already made crafting difficult for many players. In the new raid, you might finally get your chance to pay him back.
Additionally, you will receive the new legendary scepter Xiuquatl. This weapon will apparently grant you a new aura and a small animal companion.
The highlight of the patch? A special content of the patch is the new Sun Refuge. This is a player instance that can be expanded. The focus is on armor that evolves as you progress through the instance. In the refuge itself, you seem to be able to encounter allies like Aurene.
When does “Guiding Star” come out? The fourth episode of the Living World Season 4 releases on Tuesday, September 18.
