A talented fan has created two atmospheric trailers for the fantasy MMO Guild Wars 2. In his opinion, GW2 has a potential to engage the masses that is not tapped into by the official marketing.
Guild Wars 2 places great importance on storytelling, atmosphere, and compelling narratives. Gee Kim, a fan of the game and, as it turns out, an extremely talented video artist, found that ArenaNet’s marketing did not do justice to the game. Additionally, he wanted to try his hand at video creation.
Therefore, he sat down and created an “epic trailer” for the first season of the Living World, which received enthusiastic reactions from fans. After the site “Kotaku” took notice and reported on it, Kim released a second trailer.
