In Episode 4 of the current season of the Living Story of Guild Wars 2, the “Head of the Serpent” is in trouble. This refers to the Cult of the White Mantle, an intriguing faction that has been one of your main enemies since the first Guild Wars. Centuries later, the White Mantle has risen again and infiltrated the realm of Kryta. But fortunately, there are your heroes to give the Mantle bearers a proper kicking starting February 7!
Into the Raid Jungle
For those who find the story not enough, there is also a new raid to explore. The raid is called “Bastion of the Penitent” and is located in the dark Bloodstone Marsh. There, a total of four bosses await your swords, bows, and staffs. Those who can defeat them can look forward to new loot and achievements.
All these new features, however, are only available if you own the Heart of Thorns expansion.
If you do not have the major addon for Guild Wars 2 yet, you can now purchase it at a 50 percent discount. The offer is valid until February 8. However, anyone who logs in starting February 7 can pre-register for the episode and then play it for free later.
