Guild Wars 2: All 54 Legendary Weapons and How to Obtain Them

The 16 legendary weapons of the second generation – Heart of Thorns and Path of Fire

What legendary weapons are there in Generation 2? In the second generation, there are only 16 Legendarys, as the additional greatswords and underwater weapons are missing:

• Astralaria – Axe
• Chuka and Champawat – Shortbow
• The Glänzende Klinge – Sword
• Exordium – Greatsword
• Chains of Ipos – Focus
• Flames of War – Torch
• Heureka – Mace
• HOPE – Pistol
• IMS Divinity
• Claw of Khan-Ur – Dagger
• Nevermore – Staff
• Pharus – Longbow
• Sharur – Hammer
• Shuushaduu – Debt
• Verdarach – Horn
• Xiuquatl – Scepter

This is always the same in crafting the legendary weapons of Generation 2

In Generation 2 of legendary weapons, ArenaNet did quite a few things differently:

• For the first 4 weapons Astralaria, HOPE, Nevermore, and Chuka and Champawat, you have to complete a series of achievements, which makes crafting very complex and time-consuming. However, the weapons are generally a bit cheaper.
• The other 12 weapons are crafted using recipes. In the first 3 levels, you craft the Precursor, and in the final fourth level, you craft the legendary weapon. These weapons are a bit more expensive than the previous 4.

All 16 weapons share that you must completely explore the 4 areas of Heart of Thorns or the 4 areas of Path of Fire. You also need either all masteries from Heart of Thorns or all masteries from Path of Fire (except for raids).

It is also important to master the legendary weapons from Alt-Tyria and the fact that you must have the appropriate professions to the weapon at level 500, not 400 as with the first generation.

What items are thrown into the Mystic Forge? The following 4 items land in the legendary weapons of Generation 2 in the forge:

• The Precursor
• The corresponding gift for the legendary weapon
• Mystic Tribute
• Gift of Maguuma Mastery or Gift of Desert Mastery

How do I get the Precursor? The Precursor is created during the crafting process and then consumed. It is not tradeable.

What is the Mystic Tribute and how do I get it? The Mystic Tribute consists of several items, whose recipes you can buy from Miyani at the Mystic Forge. You need:

• 2 Gifts of Condensed Power
  •  2 Gifts of the Fangs
    •  200 Terrible Fangs
    •  500 Large Fangs
    •  100 Sharp Fangs
    •  100 Fangs
  •  2 Gifts of Scales
    •  200 Armored Scales
    •  500 Large Scales
    •  100 Smooth Scales
    •  100 Scales
  •  2 Gifts of the Claws
    •  200 Terrible Claws
    •  500 Large Claws
    •  100 Sharp Claws
    •  100 Claws
  •  2 Gifts of Bones
    •  200 Ancient Bones
    •  500 Large Bones
    •  100 Thick Bones
    •  100 Bones
• 2 Gifts of Condensed Magic
