Madness is once again raging in ESO. Because currently, there is a particularly funny event happening: The Festival of Fools. How to participate and what prizes you can win, you can find out here.
What’s there to do and what do I get for it? During the event, you can complete three fun quests each day, which you receive from the fools in front of the festival tents in the respective regions.
As a reward for each quest, you get a bit of gold along with a gift containing useful consumables and some items for your collection.

Fun and Indrik
What else is there? For completing the first fool quest of the day, there are mainly two event tickets, which all of you who already own an Indrik or want one should be especially eager for. With these, you can buy feathers and berries for your beloved unicorn mount from the merchant Impresaria.

You can usually find Impresaria near every festival tent, and she will also be marked on your map. By completing a quest daily, you can collect a total of 24 event tickets.
This year, you can also purchase a cute little Indrik as a pet from Impresaria for just 10 event tickets.
Location and Quests
Do I have to pay an entrance fee and where do I need to go? The Festival of Fools is free. Travel to one of the festival tents in Ebonheart, Vulkhel Guard, or Daggerfall and start the introductory quest. As a reward, you will receive something very special at the end: a cake.

Of course, it’s a really cool cake: The Fool’s Pie. If you snack on it, you will receive 100% more experience for two hours. If you have completed the quest last year, you do not have to repeat it. In this case, you can start with your daily quests right away.
When does it take place? The Festival of Fools started on March 21 and ends on April 2 at 4 PM Central European Time. Thus, it lasts a whole week longer than last year.
Are there new achievements? Of course! If you are particularly diligent in fooling around, you can unlock the following achievements:
- War of the Three Fillings: For this, you must throw 10 cakes at players from other alliances.
- The Upper Crust: Visit each alliance leader and throw a cake at them.
- Bit Off More Than You Can Chew: Show it to the authorities! Throw cakes at 10 guards.
- Sovereignly Served: Complete the three achievements “War of the Three Fillings”, “The Upper Crust” and “Sovereignly Served”.
- Dirty Business: Travel to Cyrodiil and defeat 10 players while covered in cake.
If you achieve this, there are of course also special rewards. For completing “Dirty Business” and “The Upper Crust”, you will receive the titles “Meringue” and “Tin Soldier”. If you complete “Sovereignly Served”, you’ll get a “Disturbingly Silent Face Paint” for your collection.

What’s in the Crown Shop? Aside from the Fool’s Cap Monkey, just useless knickknacks: The Fool’s Personality, a selection of funny mounts, and Cadwell’s Culinary Outfit. Among them is also the stone we already reported on.
