The developers want to present players of the Diablo-like MMO Guardians of Ember with a major update every month that includes content or features. Guardians of Ember will soon be fully available in German.
About three months ago, the Early Access of Guardians of Ember started. Now the developers are presenting players with a roadmap in which they introduce future content and features that will be integrated into the game in the coming months. The new Dark Knight class will kick things off, set to be released in March. By summer, there will even be a complete German version of GoE.
GoE Roadmap – New Class, Game Mode, Act 5 and 6
Every month, a major update for Guardians of Ember is supposed to be released, which either includes new game content or features. Some of these planned contents are already available in the Taiwanese version of the game. Other content is new and will be integrated into GoE for the first time.
- March – Dark Knight: This month, the sixth class in the game is to be activated. Since this character has not yet been tested by a large number of players, the developers place great emphasis on your feedback for balance changes.
- April – Horde Mode: This game mode is designed for 5-player groups and demands defensive gameplay. You must defeat enemies that appear in individual waves.
- May – Act 5: In the abandoned landscape of Labato Fjord, your next task awaits. There you must stop Arques before he joins Urdigard. Act 5 is the final segment in Early Access.
- Summer – German Version: The developers plan to release a complete German version of GoE this summer.
- Once the plans mentioned above are fulfilled, the developers will consider the game “complete” and will end the Early Access mode.
- There will continue to be updates and expansions, which will be free for any player who has purchased GoE.

The plan for 2017 also includes:
- Autumn – Act 6
- Autumn – Guild Skill System
- Winter – More PvP modes and maps
- Bloodier version of the game (Currently without a schedule)
- Hardcore Mode (Currently without a schedule)
- Controller Support (Currently without a schedule)
- These plans are not yet finalized and can be changed at any time. The timelines are intentionally vague because the team is initially focusing on bug fixes, which are the highest priority.
