Hollywood star Chloë Moretz is now playing Destiny 2. The passionate actress was looking for a new gaming challenge and was quickly convinced by Bungie’s space shooter. We will tell you what the community says about the famous Guardian, which class she plays and what her first impression was.
Who is Chloë Grace Moretz? Chloë is an American model and young actress who has already landed a few impressive film roles with her ambitious attitude. The 25-year-old is particularly fond of turbulent action films.
- In 2010, she successfully played the notable role of “Mindy MaCready” aka “Hit-Girl” alongside Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Nicolas Cage in “Kick-Ass”.
- In 2012, she returned in the sequel, “Kick Ass 2”.
- Further roles followed in “The Equalizer”, “The 5th Wave”, “Bad Neighbours 2” and others.
Besides acting and modeling, Chloë Moretz is also a passionate gamer. This is well known, especially through her own posts via Twitter.
- There, she discusses her current games, such as the MMORPG Final Fantasy 14 and the MMO Grand Theft Auto Online.
- Recently, she also reported how obsessed she was with the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Open Beta.
When the CoD beta ended, she immediately asked her followers on Twitter for a new gaming challenge. It didn’t take long for her to receive a brief and questioning recommendation “Destiny 2?” from Guardian deRanged Shaman.
She promptly replied to him that she had just downloaded Bungie’s space shooter. Obviously, something about Destiny 2 made Chloë’s gamer heart beat faster quite quickly. However, she has not yet revealed exactly what that is.
Guardians are already joking: That’s it for the film career
Guardians from Destiny 2 know exactly what the actress can expect – fun, but also a lot of grind that will cost a lot of time.
Many in the community congratulated her on her choice. Additionally, the “Kick Ass” star has already received the first offers for questing together and invitations for various activities. Other Guardians joked with her.
- Player Monroe Jigsaw predicted for her on Twitter: “Ohhhhh, this will be the best and worst decision you ever made in your whole life. Welcome to the madhouse!”
- AwwwwD is excited and “can’t wait until you play nothing but Destiny, but at the same time hate the game”.
- And Crizy knows that one can sink many hours into Destiny 2 quickly. Therefore, he can imagine: “When she enters this universe, she will never have time to participate in a new movie again!”
And indeed, that was something that Chloë recognized shortly afterwards. The newly minted Guardian posted, having familiarized herself with the space shooter a little, laughing on Twitter: “You weren’t joking … Destiny is very demanding (consuming)”.
She is certainly not wrong. Without a guide, it is indeed challenging in Destiny 2 to understand which quest sequence is the correct one.
Especially which content corresponds to which expansion and how the gameplay flows can quickly confuse new players. Therefore, Destiny 2 remains a game in 2022 that, despite many improvements, you shouldn’t explore alone at the beginning.
However, while every other player has to painstakingly seek connection or help through videos and LFG, the actress has already received a lot of tips, enthusiastic clan invitations, and fireteam applications online.
Even content creators smell their opportunity: She is not only receiving offers from players. There are also invitations and tips from well-known Destiny 2 content creators, such as Datto, KackisHD, or Frostbold, which have already come in. The streamers are apparently sensing their opportunity to perhaps have the famous actress in one of their Destiny livestreams someday.
The applications were quite impressive:
You can assume that Chloë will keep her followers updated via her Twitter account about what she is doing in the Destiny universe and especially, how she finds these experiences. Just as she has done with her other games so far.
Not the only celebrity Guardian in Destiny 2: By the way, Chloë Moretz is not the only celebrity moving around in the Destiny universe.
- The Xbox chief Phil Spencer has also spent a lot of time with Destiny.
- Similarly, Lance Reddick, the voice of Zavala and star of series like Fringe, The Blacklist, or the successful John Wick, chapter 2 and 3.
- Zach Braff, aka JD from Scrubs, shares the Destiny passion with his nephew.
- And a few other famous stars who could have stood next to you in the game.
Which Destiny class did Chloë favor? Before she entered the Destiny universe, the “Kick Ass” star still had to choose her character class. It was either a powerful Titan or a sprightly Hunter?
After a short consideration and an exchange with Destiny players and the community manager from Bungie, she ultimately chose the Hunter. “The speed of the Hunter” seemed better to her. Apparently something that her followers also considered absolutely fitting for a true “Hit Girl”.
What do you think? Would you like to play a round with Chloë or would you prefer to see her in a stream with the Destiny content creators? Or perhaps you think the actress will soon throw in the towel anyway. So feel free to share your opinion with the community in the comments.
If the “Kick Ass” star remains faithful to the Destiny universe, then she will also soon have to do without this popular third-party app because Bungie wanted to ban cheaters:
