If you have obtained your weapon God Rolls in Destiny 2, you will reach a point where the armor needs some fine-tuning. However, this is not so easy, as much depends on good RNG. Therefore, we show you a piece of armor from a Guardian that is truly the God Roll par excellence.
Which armor is it? The reddit user “AGooodman” received the exotic Warlock chest piece “Starfire Protocol”, featuring amazing stats. The usual sight Guardians have regarding armor are sets with wildly randomized stats.
This armor, on the other hand, appears with a base value of 70 points. What is astonishing is especially the distribution. Because, 32 points are in Recovery and 29 in Discipline. These are the two most important values with which Guardians can shine the best with this exotic armor piece.
The rest, apart from Resilience, is at an identical value of 2 points. Such a roll is truly a God Roll.

“Spent all his luck on one find”
3 points in Resilience – this can’t be a God Roll, can it? Many Guardians may now cry out and say that this is only a half God Roll because one point seems to be wrongly assigned: After all, Resilience is +3 and not +2.
But that is misleading. Many exotic armors that were added before the expansion of “Shadowkeep” are equipped with an intrinsic perk. This perk increases a specific value by one point. Therefore, this exotic armor piece is the God Roll par excellence.
How did this find come about? Many Guardians joke that this player will now need insurance for this armor piece.
Another player notes that his RNG luck is now used up and he has no luck left in this season.
The community sees this find positively. The find shows, above all, that such an armor piece can also be possible with such outstanding stats if you bring the necessary patience and luck with you.
How often does one find such an item? Such rolls are unfortunately not easy to come by. Many Guardians have been playing Destiny 2 for ages and yet few have had such a perfect roll so far. Bungie advertises a higher drop rate of such armors, but so far this has only happened sporadically.
The Grandmasters: Nightfall or Glass Chamber promises loot with very good rolls, but usually you get rare armors and these are then also equipped with wrong distributions.
However, there is still the Umbral Engram focusing. This is also not very promising, as the drop relies on RNG and consumes a lot of resources.
Such rolls should remain rare. Many modes in Destiny 2 consciously lose their shine over time, so chasing after such jewels becomes the primary occupation of the Guardians. This usually happens indirectly through a random drop or directly by completing a difficult raid.
What do you think of this find? Do you find it interesting to see what the “best” armor really is, or do you even have such a jewel in your vault? Let us know in the comments.
