What is GTFO? In the new horror action game, four players experience co-op PvE action by taking on the roles of prisoners. You are forced to search for artifacts in a mysterious underground complex. However, dangerous monsters lurk there.

Stealth instead of shooting
What is special about GTFO? Basically, it is not a shooter where you run through the levels shooting at everything that crosses your path. Stealth is the name of the game. There are situations where it is best not to move at all and not to make a sound.
For example, when you encounter a Sleeper in the dark corridors. The massive monster is a real challenge, even when all four players are shooting at it. Therefore, you should hide and wait until the creature is gone when you encounter a Sleeper.
Such situations occur repeatedly. And that is exactly what creates the eerie and tension-filled atmosphere of GTFO.
When did the game launch? GTFO has been available in an Early Access version on Steam since December 9.
GTFO is quite well received
How are the reviews? The ratings on Steam currently stand at 86 percent and are very positive. The action game is thus quite well received.
What do players think? Reviews indicate that GTFO is great fun in a team. In addition to the varied level design, the difficulty level is praised, which can be tough for newcomers, but later on always poses a challenge.

Moreover, the game is extremely dark, which not everyone appreciates, but is crucial for the horror atmosphere.
Ryzzie writes, for example: “I will no longer invest time in this game or recommend it to others because it lacks the most basic and important matchmaking features. No player should have to use Discord to find teammates!”
How are the player numbers? According to Steamcharts, there are currently 3,123 players playing GTFO simultaneously. The peak was 3,932. So you shouldn’t have trouble finding players for one or the other match.
