On the PS4, players resorted to a trick that was supposed to earn them a lot of money. They likely had to switch to Director Mode, which is actually meant as a tool for cool videos. In this mode, the use of multiple stunt tracks was necessary to trigger the glitch.
Due to an error in the matrix, it apparently happened that these stunt tracks suddenly left Director Mode and appeared in the online sessions of other players. Reddit user ellem52 shows what such a surprising encounter looks like: Suddenly, an oversized stunt track protrudes from the ground.

On consoles, cheaters have a hard time getting money in GTA 5 Online. On PC, there are so-called mod menus that are not available on PS4. Therefore, players resort to tricks to obtain more money. Because in GTA 5, everything is so expensive that players resort to glitches.
The mentioned glitch freezes players’ money. In this frozen status, they can buy as many supercars as they want. After that, the users deactivate this status again and sell the new cars for profit.
