In GTA Online, you can buy the “GTA+” subscription starting today. This gives you certain bonuses in the game. We asked you in a survey if you want to buy the subscription, and your opinion is clear.
What is this subscription about? The service you can purchase is called “GTA+” and is available on the new consoles PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Starting today, March 29, you can buy the subscription in the respective stores. It costs €6 per month and can be canceled at any time.
If you take advantage of the service, you will receive exclusive benefits. However, the announcement was received rather controversially in the community. We show you what the feedback looks like.
This is your opinion on GTA+
What is GTA+ again? You pay about €6 per month and receive GTA dollars, exclusive bonuses, and some content earlier than other players. This includes:
- 500,000 GTA dollars on the Maze Bank account
- You can purchase the La Mesa auto shop for free via Maze Bank Forclosures
- The membership fee for the LS Car Meet is waived. You will then receive a credit of 50,000 GTA dollars
- Yacht owners receive a free upgrade to the Aquarius superyacht
- Gussét Frog T-shirt and Broker Prolaps basketball jersey and shorts will be added to your wardrobe
- Triple GTA$ and RP in HSW races
- You receive special offers for the CashCards for GTA Online and additional benefits with GTA+

We asked you: In a survey, we wanted to know your opinion about the paid service GTA+. We asked if you will use the “GTA+” subscription and gave you the option to answer with “Yes”, “No”, or “Unsure”. Each participant had one option to respond. On March 29 at 10:56 AM, 2,477 people participated in the survey and voted as follows:
- 2,296 of you say “No”, which is about 93%
- 113 of you are “unsure”, which is about 5%
- 68 of you will use the “GTA+” subscription, which is about 3%

Kuba writes: “Yes, my God, that is marketing. You just see how far you can go, “prophylactically”, if it works regarding future pricing policy. From a marketing perspective, top-notch, from a customer perspective … you are absurd. But I might not be the target audience. Let’s see how it goes. For me, it remains a brilliant and fantastic SP game.”
Ricky writes: “No matter how much this is criticized. In the end, it’s not us, the people who deal with gaming, who are the target audience, but the people who just want to relax in front of the console in the evening after work and play. All the publishers have realized that and that’s why only vague talks happen, as we are the only ones who notice it. In the end, the next FIFA will still be bought because people don’t understand the gaming industry and don’t notice the criticism at all. But hey, you can see what’s in loot boxes! And this will happen everywhere. I prophecy it.”
Nico says about the contents “It’s not worth it at all” and Mustafa Koc means “Let’s hope this fails.”
Starting today, you can buy the respective subscriptions in the PlayStation and Microsoft stores if you want. We are curious whether the contents will significantly improve by next month after the player feedback, or how Rockstar Games will handle the service in the future.
