How to secure the money? On the map of GTA Online, you currently find two time trials. One at Del Perro Pier for proper vehicles and one at the canals of Vespucci for your remote-controlled cars. Both races bring you over 100,000 GTA Dollars. In our guide, we show you how to win the following two races:
- Time Trial “Del Perro Pier”
- Time Trial “Canals of Vespucci”
Del Perro Pier – Win the Time Trial
This is the race: The start of the race is far back at the water on the pier of Del Perro Pier. Position yourself towards the arrow in the start marker. Tip: Start the race once and set a GPS marker at the finish area. Then hold “Get Off” until the attempt ends. The GPS marker will remain and help you directly in the next attempt with a purple path on the minimap.
Tips for this race: It’s best to use a motorcycle, as the last part of the course takes place offroad and motorcycles perform well on unpaved roads. The fastest motorcycles in GTA Online can be found on MeinMMO. On the offroad track, it’s better to drive a bit slower, as there are tight curves awaiting you.
On the highway, you can save some time by driving against traffic (on the far left side) and then driving up the on-ramp as a ghost driver. We have highlighted this route in green on the graphic.
You have 1:43.200 minutes for the race and win 101,000 GTA Dollars if you reach the finish on time. We decided to use the Shotaro bike and made it within the time limit.
Canals of Vespucci – Win the Time Trial
This is the race: You find the race at the purple remote control on the map of GTA Online, very close to the time trial Del Perro Pier.
This type of time trial runs with checkpoints. So you don’t need to set a goal marker in advance, as you will be guided curve by curve.
Tips for the race: Use the jump function of your RC Bandito. The many bridges that are part of the race can be “jumped” with good timing. This will save you a few more seconds.
Pay attention to how many arrows are in the checkpoint markings. The more arrows, the tighter the curve.
You have 1:53 minutes for the race. If you reach the finish on time, you will also receive 101,000 GTA Dollars here.
Both races can be completed in 4 minutes and then you receive a total of 202,000 GTA Dollars. An opportunity you should definitely take advantage of if you are saving for a bigger purchase.
