Griefers in GTA Online are flying around in “God Mode” jets. A player has now found a brilliant solution to still kill these divine enemies.
What happened? A player from GTA Online shared a clip with the community, showing how he took down a jet griefer in his God Mode vehicle. The way he managed to do it is celebrated by other players. “That’s probably the best gaming moment I’ve ever seen. I take my hat off,” writes one.
Counter against God Mode players in jets
This is what the kill looks like: In the video from BigDaddyPapaw, you can see his character falling freely from the sky at the very beginning. After a few seconds, a jet appears in front of him, which then hovers in the air. Because the jet is indestructible, BigDaddyPapaw reaches for the AP pistol and shoots the pilot’s head off.
He comments on the video, stating that he initially attacked with his Avenger and his own jet, which didn’t work. But then he struck with a special method when the griefer paused for a moment.
In the comments, the shooter is praised.

- “I bow down”
This ridiculously large transformer that hackers controlled through GTA Online cannot be dealt with using this method.
Why not just destroy the jet?
Here’s why it’s complicated: If you haven’t encountered a “God Mode” jet griefer yet, you might wonder why you can’t just blow their jet up. These types of griefers exploit a glitch that puts their jet into God Mode, not themselves as players.
So it’s not possible to simply shoot the plane down with a barrage of rockets. It’s a frustrating problem when such a griefer is hanging in their indestructible jet in the sky and can just blast down onto the map.

Now you know another method to deal with players in God Mode. If you encounter God Mode hackers on the ground, you drive them crazy with this weapon. For even though they are invulnerable, you can often shove them around.
