In GTA Online, the time trial “Fort Zancudo” is now active. In this guide, we show you a quick route to easily earn money and win the race.
How to win the money? You can find the start of the race on the open world map of GTA Online. Just drive to the purple stopwatch to start the race.
The time for the race is tight. If you reach the finish line on time, you will be rewarded with 101,000 GTA Dollars.
Update from March 14, 2020: The race is active again and rewards you with a generous sum of money. The Shotaro motorcycle, which allows you to easily win the time trial, is currently available for free at the casino with a bit of luck.
Which race is active? The time trial “Fort Zancudo” at the military airport is active. You have a time limit of 1 minute and 44 seconds to win the 101,000 GTA Dollars.
How to win “Fort Zancudo”
The course of the track: After the start, you turn left, follow the road for a few kilometers until you eventually drive straight up the hill to the finish line.
This is how the ride goes: To start, drive over the bridge and turn left at the intersection. Then you’ll follow this road for a while. At this gas station, you shortcut right through the property and follow the road.
Now follow this road for a short time. On the minimap, you will see several roads and paths that turn right. Turn right at this point:
Now it’s off-road up the hill. Aim roughly for that small tunnel that you can see further up. Approach it, but brake before the entrance, so you don’t hit the ceiling.
After the tunnel, you go left out. Now follow the small path up the mountain until you reach the road. Crash through the wooden fence there or drive through the gap between the fence and the guardrail. Now just speed down the road to the finish.
Video guide: In this video by GTA Series, you can see how to master the track. As a reward, the player in the video only receives 51,000 GTA Dollars. That’s because the video is a bit older. Recently, Rockstar Games increased the payouts for these time trials, so now you receive 101,000 GTA Dollars.
Can you repeat the race? You can race as many times as you want. However, the 101,000 GTA Dollars can only be earned once per active time trial week.
Which vehicle should you use? Because of the off-road sections, motorcycles are the most recommended here. In our test, we used the “Tron-Bike” Shotaro.
