GTA 6 is probably the most anticipated game of recent years. However, a leak is suggesting new gameplay mechanics that aim to increase realism, which players might not appreciate as much.
What mechanics will there be? In previous GTA installments, players were like walking weapon lockers. Whether it was pistols, rocket launchers, or miniguns, you could easily conjure everything out of thin air.
As current leaks suggest, this aspect could change in GTA 6. To improve realism, players will only be able to carry a limited number of weapons. The rest of their arsenal would then be transported by other means.

As Rockstar Universe reports on x.com, the weapon inventory is said to be similar to that of Alan Wake 2 or Red Dead Redemption 2. In Red Dead Redemption 2, you can only carry 4 weapons, while the rest is stored in the horse’s saddlebag. In GTA 6, this system could work with trunks in cars.

Some users would find a new dynamic interesting, while for others, it would be unbelievable, as it would tone down the beloved chaos of the series.
Of course, all this information should be taken with caution. It is not known where the leaks get their information from, and the first trailer showed nothing about the gameplay of the game yet. However, it will take a while before the game is released.
