The first trailer for GTA 6 is now out and showcases for the first time the main characters, the city, and the release year of the highly anticipated action game
Rockstar Games surprisingly released the first trailer for GTA 6 shortly after midnight on December 5, 2023, ahead of the actual schedule by several hours. Originally, the trailer was supposed to be released at 3:00 PM German time.

Especially the scenes shown of the city exude a certain Florida vibe, as once again, the metropolis is inspired by Miami, just like in previous GTA installments. Here we primarily see bright sunshine, a bustling beach, the connection to the water, and plenty of extravagant actions by the locals.
However, Florida’s typical swamps, including flamingos and alligators, can also be seen. But nightclubs, sports cars, and airplanes are already visible in the trailer. So, it is to be expected that GTA 6 will stay true to the footsteps of its predecessor.
In the background of the trailer, the song “Love is A Long Road” by Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers plays. Furthermore, the release year is revealed for the first time at the end of the trailer.
Leaks force Rockstar to release earlier
Why did the trailer come earlier? As announced by Rockstar Games on X.com (formerly Twitter), the trailer was leaked before the actual release date, which led the development studio to decide to release the trailer earlier.

When is GTA 6 coming? In addition to Vice City and the main characters, the trailer also revealed that GTA 6 is set to be released in 2025.
