Even before the release of GTA 6, fans have created their own game to better learn the map. However, not all fans are pleased with this.
What kind of game is this? Since the first trailer for GTA 6, fans have been working on a map for the game. This map is composed of trailer material and real map data from Miami. The fan project for GTA 6 has now created a detailed map, which has not been officially confirmed.
Nevertheless, fans believe in it and have now released their own game based on it.

Geoguessr in GTA 6
What have the fans created? The fans of GTA 6 have created their own game in the style of Geoguessr based on the mapping project. Players get a screenshot, a wallpaper, or another scene from the material released so far by Rockstar for GTA 6.
They then have to find and mark the location shown in the material on the fans’ map. The closer you are to the location, the more points you earn. This way, the map can already be learned, even though GTA 6 hasn’t even released it yet. You can try it for free on map.stateofleonida.net.
While the fans do not claim that everything is accurate, it is still an exciting game. However, not everyone is happy about it.
Who is upset? While some fans celebrate the project and are happy to learn something about GTA 6, there is also criticism. Some players feel that “GTA 6 Geoguessr” destroys the game before its release because it takes away the exploration experience.

However, it seems there are more supporters than opponents of the game. It remains exciting to see how many ideas the fans got right.
The release of GTA 6 is still a long way off, until November 19, 2026.
