With the new expansion for GTA 5 Online “Doomsday”, a new radio station has also been introduced that will make the hearts of hip-hoppers among you beat faster. The station is hosted by hip-hop musician Frank Ocean. And he provides suitable tracks!
GTA 5 shines with some nice radio stations, each featuring songs from various genres. Rockstar Games’ latest addition is the American hip-hop and contemporary R&B musician Frank Ocean. He not only presents the new station “Blonded Los Santos 97.8 FM”, but also offers some of his own songs for it.

The title of the station is based on Frank Ocean’s now discontinued radio show called “blonded RADIO” on Beats 1, as well as on his album “Blonde” released last year. It plays a wild mix of songs from JAY-Z, Panda Bear, and Aphex Twin, along with some of his own tracks.

A Fresh Mix
The reactions have mostly been positive. On Reddit many explain that they will once again take a peek into GTA 5 thanks to the new station and are pleased with the fresh air blowing musically through the cars again.
The station features a good mix of “Deep Cuts”, soul and hip-hop and also includes some lesser-known pieces. Depending on your taste in music, it might be worth tuning in to this station during a wild car chase and listening through the tracks.
