The last detail has finally been activated to “enjoy” Christmas in GTA 5 Online on the streets.
A few days ago, the team from GTA 5 Online released the Christmas update. During the Christmas event, you can buy new clothes or even take them for free. Additionally, there’s another new car. It’s technically not “new”, but an old version of an already existing car. In the meantime, Rockstar has also activated the detail that is the most important change for many GTA players during Christmas time: snow.
Snow in GTA 5 Online
As of today, snow is on the streets of GTA 5 Online, inviting (unintentional) drifting. Players have been waiting for this feature for days. There were no official indications in the last few days about when the snow would be activated.

Last night, the corresponding function was activated and is already causing snow chaos on the streets. However, this chaos is not negatively viewed. Unintentional accidents with other players drifting towards you and sitting desperately behind the wheel can indeed be amusing.
It’s probably a bit less fun if you want to earn money with the Import/Export DLC. Safely stealing cars without causing much damage will be more difficult on the slippery roads than before.
Snowball fights are possible by picking up snow (D-pad: Left). Up to 9 snowballs can fit in your inventory.
Unfortunately, it is not known how long the snow will last in GTA 5 Online. Hopefully, the developers will allow us to enjoy this event for a long time.

A new car is now available to you at Benny’s Garage. The “reinvention” of the Pfister Comet is described by the developers as a robust racing car. The car has many tuning options to customize it to your liking. Even with the current snowfall, this vehicle should provide a lot of fun.
