Grand Theft Online will receive its major update on July 24. Gay Tony is back, even if the name may no longer be politically correct. The player will become a nightclub operator and hire famous DJs, even though the club is actually just a front for the player’s criminal business.
When is it coming? The “After Hours” update for GTA Online will be released on July 24.
Who is the star? Tony Prince, aka Gay Tony, is returning. He was already in Grand Theft Auto 4 and seems a bit outdated.
What does the player do? The player will become Tony Prince’s business partner and open a nightclub. There, top-notch DJs like Solomun, Tale of Us, Dixon, or The Black Madonna can perform. While the DJs are real in the actual world, the nightclub isn’t entirely real. It seems to only serve as a “front” for the largest criminal enterprise San Andreas has ever seen.
Chill DLC “Night Hours” is coming
What’s the joke? The funniest scene in the trailer is undoubtedly when someone tells “Gay Tony”: Listen, you can’t call yourself “the gay Tony” anymore. That’s not politically correct. The internet is going to explode.
Interesting in the trailer: It is already clear that the “DJs” you can hire are likely to be… eccentric characters that will provide a laugh in keeping with the more relaxed atmosphere of the DLC. You can’t be more British than the DJ in white. It also seems that Rockstar is putting considerable effort into the story – at least the trailer makes you eager for more.
Not much known yet: Gameplay-wise, all fans of the game are still in the dark. The trailer seems to announce some “heists.” These are the large-scale robberies that players can undertake to fill their pockets.
