The biggest game on the streaming platform Twitch is currently GTA 5. It is coming back to the Xbox Game Pass and can be acquired at a particularly low price.
When is GTA 5 coming to the Game Pass? The release in the Xbox Game Pass is planned for April 8, 2021. Then GTA 5 will be playable on Xbox and via the Cloud. However, PC users will not have access to it.
Prior to this, the action game was included in the Game Pass. In May 2020, the popular game was removed. Its return has taken a little less than a year.
What is the Xbox Game Pass? It is a subscription model for Xbox and PC. You can think of it as a kind of Netflix for gamers. Those who subscribe pay a monthly fee and can access a large selection of great games.
Included in the Pass are, among others, the new Outriders, Bethesda games like ESO or DOOM Eternal, and 60 games from EA.
How much does such a subscription cost? Normally, you pay up to 12.99 euros per month for the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. However, those who subscribe for the first month will only pay one euro.
Additionally, there are other tricks to save a lot of money on the Pass: Be careful, do not simply pay 10 € for the Xbox Game Pass – I almost made that mistake.
GTA 5 remains extremely popular even 7 years after release
Why should you check out GTA 5? GTA 5 was released in September 2013 and still enjoys great popularity:
- With over 178 million watched hours, it is the most successful game of the last 30 days on Twitch (via Sullygnome)
- On Steam, it had an average of 95,300 players in the last 30 days, peaking at over 180,000 online simultaneously, making it one of the strongest games on Steam overall (via Steamcharts)
One reason for this is the online component, which offers a multitude of possibilities for role-playing. Players can take on the roles of bank robbers, police officers, or ordinary citizens and can create either a very realistic or unrealistic world.
