Erik “Gronkh” Range is considered a pioneer of German YouTube and Twitch. Over the course of his long career, he has amassed quite a collection of games on Steam. He recently showed just how many during a stream.
Note April 29, 2025, 13:20: The article was originally published on April 28, but we have added the exact number of games as well as some details about Gronkh’s gaming behavior.
In a stream, Gronkh provided a glimpse into his game library on Steam. The streamer estimates that he has about 6,000 games on Steam alone. In addition, he has over 1,000 titles on the competing platform GoG and around 2,000 physical games.
In fact, according to SteamLadder, it is exactly 6,575 games. However, this number might not be entirely up to date since Gronkh’s profile is private. Additionally, soundtracks and DLCs might also be included.
Among AAA titles like Starfield and Cyberpunk, there are also games that long-time Gronkh fans are likely to feel nostalgic about, such as Sons of the Forest. Furthermore, there are pretty much every indie game you’ve ever heard of.
But it’s no wonder, as Gronkh has been making a living playing games in front of an audience for well over a decade:

How did he accumulate so many games? The titles seen in the stream are a wild mix. As a passionate – and professional – gamer, he has surely purchased quite a bit over the years.
However, since Gronkh is also a successful streamer, he regularly receives review copies of new games from publishers or developers. There are also numerous free demos of games that Gronkh has either looked at at some point or at least intended to.
For some games, the streamer himself is unsure of what they are or where they came from – although some titles he discovers while scrolling definitely look like “joke gifts.” Additionally, there are some soundtracks in the Steam library.
The stream excerpt was recently re-released on Gronkh’s “Best of” channel. You can watch the video here:
How many games has he played from this collection? Even Gronkh probably doesn’t know the answer. While scrolling through, he does come across one or two titles he’s always wanted to play but somehow never got to.
On the website TwitchTracker, at least it can be tracked that Gronkh has shown more than 750 games in streams since November 2016. Some of these, however, the streamer has only played for about fifteen minutes. If he wanted to do that with all 6,575 titles in his library, he would be continuously occupied for 68.5 days mathematically.
Statistics from SteamLadder also provide insight into the streamer’s gaming behavior. For instance, he is said to have spent over 13,400 hours in games on Steam, averaging 122 minutes per title.
His most played games are Skyrim with 731 hours, Tap Ninja with 570 hours, The Forest with 373 hours, and Fallout 4 with 337 hours (as of April 29, 2025).
The community reacts to the whole thing with a mix of awe and concern.
- Marty_Soundwerk: “Gronkh’s Steam library is simply worth more than the contents of my apartment.”
- MBauer457: “Gronkh is just playing through Steam.”
- MisterFinster: “Gronkh is just the king of gaming.”
Several users also say that they would feel much better about their own “Pile of Shame” in comparison.
Gronkh brought up the topic because a viewer asked him how his library is sorted, for example alphabetically? However, for the streamer, there is only one possible arrangement: The games must be displayed in the order in which they were last opened. Otherwise, according to Gronkh, he wouldn’t find anything at all.
Feel free to let us know in the comments what sorting method you swear by in your game collections.
Gronkh’s library is impressive, but there is actually one player whose Steam library makes even this collection look tiny. You can learn more about it here on MeinMMO: A gamer on Steam has the largest Pile of Shame, only plays a 12-year-old Valve game
