With the pre-patch of Battle for Azeroth, the artifact weapons in World of Warcraft have lost their power. Especially Beast Mastery hunters dislike this very much, as they also lose a companion. They want Hati back.
#SaveHati: The hunter companion Hati is bound to the artifact weapon “Titanstrike” of Beast Mastery hunters. After Hati disappeared along with the power of the weapon, many players are trying to persuade Blizzard on Twitter and in the forums to give them Hati back.

Hati – more than just a weapon
Hati has accompanied many hunter players since the beginning of WoW: Legion. For hunters, he has become more than just a companion in the stable, as he was always by their side and has his own backstory.

Who is Hati? Hati is actually the pet of the guardian Thorim, a wolf with the power of lightning. Hunters get to know him when they pursue a thief who has stolen the powerful weapon Titanstrike.
Hati saves the players from being struck by the powerful lightning from the weapon and is fatally wounded in the process. To save him, Hati is bound to the power of Titanstrike.
Hati is a special companion: Hati has followed Beast Mastery hunters since his rescue as a lifesaver and loyal companion. He has acted as a second companion to the actual hunter companion.
In doing so, Hati has even been able to change his appearance. His look has changed along with the equipped artifact weapon skin. At level 110, Beast Mastery hunters even received a quest from Mimiron, at the end of which they received a device that allowed Hati to adopt the appearance of the other active companion.

Suddenly Hati had to leave: With the preparatory patch 8.0.1 for Battle for Azeroth on July 18, 2018, all artifact weapons lost their power. That this would happen was already known long before.
What many players, especially hunters, apparently did not think about is that Hati was also bound to the weapon. Hati was a feature of Titanstrike and had to depart from Azeroth along with its power.

Players launch #SaveHati campaign
Shortly after Blizzcon 2017, when the destruction of the artifact weapons was announced, some players started to think about Hati’s fate.
Since Titanstrike and other artifacts became powerless with patch 8.0.1, hunter players have come together and launched the Twitter trend #SaveHati. They want the divine wolf back – they miss a friend.

What should happen to Hati? Many fans understand that Hati cannot exist as a second companion in Battle for Azeroth. However, they are concerned about his fate – after all, his life was literally bound to the now lost power of Titanstrike.
The players therefore suggest that there should at least be a short quest where the hunters find out that Mimiron and Thorim have found another item to which Hati can be bound and thus kept alive.
He could then continue to stand as a visitor in the class hall or wander into the stables as a companion for hunters who have unlocked him in Legion. The Beast Mastery hunters especially want to know that Hati is doing well.

There is hope: The Senior Narrative Designer of WOW, Steve Danuser, has already responded to the hashtag flood on Twitter. The posts on the topic have really touched him. As a response, Steve tweeted: “Don’t worry. You’ll see Hati again. Just give it some time.”
As I look upon this lovely and heart-wrenching image, my RL pup is curled up under my desk staring up at me.
Right. In. The. Feels.
Don’t worry. You’ll see Hati again. Just give it a bit of time. https://t.co/bdUZJnmbFA
