In Fortnite, the Winterfest event is currently ongoing. However, the end of the Fortnite Christmas season is just around the corner – and with it, the chance to snag gifts is running out.
Until when does Winterfest run? The Fortnite Winterfest runs until January 6 at 3:00 PM. This means there is still exactly one day left to collect the Winterfest bonuses.
What are the bonuses? The most important bonus consists of 14 gifts that you can pick up during the event in the “Winterfest Lodge”. You just need to open the corresponding tab through the main menu. In the lodge, you’ll meet Sgt. Winter and two large gift mountains.
Important: Even though there was initially one gift per day, you don’t have to worry if you weren’t logged in for a day. If you go online in Fortnite now, you can simply open all remaining gifts that are still left.
Among them are highlights like the Winter-Skali skin, the outfit “Chrisabelle”, and a stylish Matrix glider. It might be worth checking back in if you haven’t opened all the gifts yet. According to the official announcement from Epic Games, late collection is still possible until the end of Winterfest.
Where is the last gift in Fortnite?
Players searching for the last gift: There has been some confusion for a few days due to the in-game indicator that one more, 15th gift can be opened – even though all other gifts have already been opened.
On Twitter, the “Fortnite Status” channel already reported back in late 2021 and emphasized that they were working on the error. This happened directly following the severe server outages in Fortnite.
However, it is not entirely clear whether it is only a visual bug to be fixed or if a new gift will actually appear. The official announcement of the event originally talked about 14 gifts that players have also been able to collect.
As the end of the event is imminent and so far no 15th gift has appeared, it becomes increasingly unlikely that another package will show up.

What else can be done? In the last hours of Winterfest, you still have the opportunity to quickly complete the Winterfest challenges and collect some rewards. There are also the glider “Snowmando-Board”, the “Ice-Lama” as a back accessory, and you can earn XP.
Additionally, you can still encounter Sgt. Winter and his entourage on the map, who are out and about in trucks and quads. Tip: Try riding on the winter truck for a few rounds and surprise your opponents.
