The upcoming MMORPG God Slayer is currently in the final testing phase in China and offers you gameplay progression even if you don’t play yourself.
God Slayer is a new action MMORPG from the Chinese developer studio Changyou and aims to impress with action-packed and fast-paced battles. One could describe it as a kind of Vindictus in an open world. The focus is clearly on fighting many monsters. The battles are action-oriented and active. A combo system allows you to perform special attacks through a combination of clicks with the right and left mouse buttons.
Elements enhance skills
You create your hero from a male Assassin, a male Blade Master, a female Magician, and a female Healer. It is not possible to choose a class independently of gender.
A special feature is the skill system. Because your skills can be enhanced by elements. This makes it possible to give your melee attack a fire bonus simply by extending the ability with the corresponding element. This should apply to every skill that you can enhance in various ways.
God Slayer also plays solo
God Slayer has another feature: It is possible for the game to play completely on its own. Through an autoplay function, the game takes over all your activities. You set a skillset beforehand and then start autoplay. Your hero then sets off and independently defeats monsters.
In the currently ongoing beta, there are said to be many players using this mode and being AFK, even though the character is currently attacking monsters. This way, you level up even when you sleep or for some other reason are not at the computer.
God Slayer uses CryEngine 3 and therefore looks graphically quite good. Whether and when we can also play the action MMORPG here is currently still uncertain.
With God Slayer, we could be looking at the next big action MMORPG, provided it is released here.
