After the developers of the MMORPG Gloria Victis hired The Witcher 3 graphic artist Jakub Kisiel, they now showcase his work through a video.
Jakub Kisiel is responsible for new animations for the characters in Gloria Victis. In a new video linked below this news, you can see how the hero moves in the game. The animations are very smooth, especially during combat. The signature style is unmistakable, as the very graceful movements somehow remind of Witcher Geralt from The Witcher 3.
Answer questions to create your character
The development team expresses great pride and states that they are now working on the new character creation system. In this, you have to answer a few questions to develop your personal backstory. This will affect your starting class. Depending on the choices you make, different classes will be offered to you.
Additionally, the team is currently working on overhauling the databases. This will improve communication between the database and the server and solve some issues. Furthermore, this work improves the game’s performance and ensures greater stability for the servers. More than half of the game mechanics have already been migrated to the new system.
Heroine needs the country!
It has also been announced that the ongoing work on the animations will soon allow for the introduction of female player characters. It is not yet clear when this will happen, but according to the developers, it won’t be long. Then it will be possible to create a female hero. So far, only men roam the game world. An update that is to be released today will also bring Halloween decorations into the fantasy world.
