In Red Dead Redemption 2, there is currently a hot glitch that can make you rich. You can loot infinite gold bars.
It is currently possible to exploit a game mechanic in Red Dead Redemption 2 that makes you a rich man in singleplayer. A bug allows you to collect infinite gold bars with a specific method. This brings in many thousands of dollars and is also quite straightforward.
Whether you can reconcile this with your morals is something everyone must decide for themselves.
Gold Bar Glitch in RDR 2
How does the glitch work? First, you need to travel to Limpany. This is a small village that has apparently been abandoned for a while and looks accordingly. You can see on the map where you need to travel.
To the sheriff: Look for the sheriff’s building there. It’s hard to miss as it has a sign above the door with the word “Sheriff” written in big letters.
Search the box: Go through the door of the sheriff’s building and immediately left around the table. In the right corner under the table (that is, in front of the wall with the window) is the box on the ground. Open it, but do not loot the gold bar if you want to use the glitch.
If you do not want to use the glitch, simply loot the gold bar here and move on.
First save: Now you should save the game and then load this new save file.
Back to the office: You will spawn on a hill nearby now. Do not open the map or menu now. Turn left, walk along the edge, and follow the path steeply down. It will lead you back to Limpany.
Loot the gold: If you now return to the office, the box is open. You can now loot gold bars from it an infinite number of times. When your inventory is full, ride to the fence and sell the stuff.

How long does the glitch last? It is likely that Rockstar will remove this glitch from the game soon with a patch.
Find the fence and sell there
You unlock the fence at Emerald Ranch through a story mission. It’s called “The Backbones of America” and is a quest where you need to loot a house and steal a cart. Afterwards, the fence will be unlocked. The mission is available from Hosea.
Ride to the fence and sell him the gold bars mentioned above to make a lot of money. You get 500 dollars per bar.
