Perfect Worlds colorful MOBA Gigantic receives its first major update. In “Exile in the North,” we get the new hero Pakko, more skins for the old crew, and numerous adjustments and bug fixes.
Gigantic is a colorful MOBA where our team protects a giant beast and is encouraged to take down the giant creature of the other faction. As heroes, we have all kinds of quirky beings to choose from, including a kind of goat with a bow, a Minotaur cow, and a frog! This league of extraordinary creatures is now expanded in the current update “Exile in the North” by the equally bizarre cuddly beard Pakko.
More rewards, fewer bugs
Pakko is not the only new feature in the game. The existing heroes Wu and Tripp receive special winter skins, and there are also several new majestic hero mastery skins.
Sticking it out is worth it starting from the update: If you bravely finish a match despite being outnumbered, you will be rewarded with more honor points, even if you lose. The fewer players you have, the better your bonus. Additionally, the gain from a “Crown Boost” will be 3.5 times better in the future, and a training arena allows you to try out all heroes.
As befits a good update, Exile in the North also fixes a lot of bugs, errors, and balance issues. The most notable of these are:
- The duration of stun effects is reduced, so Tripp is no longer overpowered
- Focus skills can now be triggered more comfortably and quickly
- Shadow Cerberus and Obelisks are getting buffed
- Jump attacks must now really be initiated with a jump. It is no longer enough to just fall somewhere. Additionally, you must expend stamina for a jump attack to count.
- The Guardian giant beast now deals more damage but also has more health per wound
- Creatures should now get stuck less often on the maps
