Ghost Recon Wildlands has received the “New Assignment” update for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. We show you what’s in it.
Another free update has reached the co-op tactical shooter Ghost Recon Wildlands. New classes, features, and maps are part of the update from March 14.
Ghost War: New Classes, New Maps
The New Assignment update brings the three classes Trapper, Stalker, and Guerrilla to the Ghost War game mode. Additionally, the developers unlock a new voting feature, allowing players to vote for one of three maps before a match.
The update has been available since March 14 and is about 4 GB on Steam. On UPlay and on PS4 and Xbox One, 15 GB must be downloaded.
For the Salvage game mode, the new maps Refinery and Cliff are available.

New Classes for Ghost War
The three new classes are available through the Season Pass and the Ghost War Pass. If you do not own either pass, you can purchase the classes with Prestige Credits.
- Trapper: With the Trapper, a precision shooter with a passive and an active ability joins the game. His passive ability marks fallen enemies on the HUD on the map for the team. The active ability allows placing stun gas traps remotely.

- Stalker: This precision shooter class has two passive abilities. Enemies that are too far away cannot hear the shots from this class and do not perceive sound signatures. Additionally, enemies do not receive notifications when marked by the Stalker.

- Guerrilla: A support class with a drone that can throw smoke grenades. All players in the smoke area are concealed and lose their marking. Furthermore, they cannot be marked again by drones, targeting, or binoculars during that time.

Additionally, GRW has shown on a roadmap that the next updates “Reinforcement” and “Bravo 6” will now be bundled as a single update in April. You can find the full patch notes for the new update here on the Ghost Recon Wildlands website.
