The search for the Yeti has now begun in Ghost Recon Wildlands. Eight statues are said to be related to the furry monster being sought.
Ubisoft’s tactical shooter Ghost Recon Wildlands is putting the community to the test. Mysterious things are happening in the mountainous landscape of Wildlands. Corpses with scratch marks lie on a mountain, charred bodies are found at camps. Additionally, statues can be found in various regions that can be collected.
So far, there is no clear evidence, but the community is convinced that a Yeti is hiding in the mountains of Ghost Recon Wildlands.
The Yeti doesn’t exist, does it?
So far, the Yeti in Ghost Recon Wildlands is still purely a theory and speculation. The impetus for this theory came from an outfit that can be bought in the Uplay store. It looks not just interesting, but is called Yeti Hunter:
Furthermore, players in the mountain region of GRW “Inca Camina” are making mysterious finds. There, dead hikers lie on the path with slashed clothing. In another spot, a charred body is found next to a tent. Of course, at first, the suspicion is that the Santa Blanca cartel has its hands in this. However, there’s no sign of the guys from the area of the finds.
Further clues of the Yeti?
There are no additional clues about the Yeti so far, but: There are interesting Easter eggs in Ghost Recon Wildlands that may have to do with the Yeti conspiracy. Players find statues in various regions of the vast world of Wildlands. There are presumably eight of these statues that you can collect. However, once you have collected them, they do not appear in your inventory but instead seem to simply disappear. Observant players have noticed that they do not just disappear, but reappear in another location on the map. What place could that be?
That’s right, the snow region Inca Camina, where there have already been the mysterious corpse finds. There, the statues appear outside on a kind of shrine. Once you have collected all eight statues, some civilians gather at this shrine, and some start to pray. How the statues are connected to the Yeti is the next mystery that the community wants to solve.
