Wildlands: Open Beta – Patch Size and Areas
If you have already deleted the client of the closed beta, you need to download about 24GB on PC. If you still have the old data, you need to download a 19GB update. For PS4 and Xbox One, the patch size is also about 24GB. To ensure you can jump into the game on time for the start of the Open Beta, the preload has started.
During the Open Beta of Wildlands, you can play alone or with up to four players in cooperative mode in two large areas: Itacua and Montuyoc.
- Itacua is known to many of you from the closed beta that was active at the beginning of the month. It is a fertile province with a temperate climate and some mountains, where people who are pursued by the cartel seek refuge.
- Montuyoc is located in the highlands and is the training center of the Santa Blanca drug cartel. There, the cartel wants to build an elite army to compete with the best armies in South America.
If you want to get an impression of the areas of Ghost Recon Wildlands beforehand, you can do so on an interactive map. With 50 different cameras, you can observe the area there. Additionally, there is a mini-game where you can earn an XP booster for the finished game. Here is the interactive map of Ghost Recon Wildlands.
