Ghost Recon Wildlands: Mk 17 Fundort - So gibt's das Top-Sturmgewehr

The popular assault rifle Mk 17 can be found in a Unidad base. We will show you how to get this weapon in Ghost Recon Wildlands: The Mk 17 location.

In Ghost Recon Wildlands you have a wide selection of weapons. The largest selection is found among the assault rifles, where you can choose from 23 models.

Damage, handling, and fire rate are in the mid-range for the Mk 17. Precision and range are the highest stats of this weapon. These values, combined with the medium damage value, make the Mk 17 popular among players of Ghost Recon Wildlands. We will show you how to obtain the Mk 17 assault rifle.

Finding the Mk 17 – Caution in the Unidad base

If you want to try out this assault rifle, you must first take on some Unidad foes. However, for experienced shooters, storming the base without triggering an alarm should not be a problem. In this guide, we will show you the way to the weapon crate.

The Mk 17 rifle can be found in the middle of the region Flor De Oro, which is located in the southeast of the world map.

As mentioned in the other weapon guides, it is also advisable to fly to this area with a helicopter.
However, if you are coming from the north, you should fly low, as air-defense missiles will make your approach difficult.
The weapon is located in a Unidad base guarded by many soldiers.
So approach carefully and land on a nearby hill to get an overview of the base.
In our test, we landed northeast of the base, as you can see in the following screenshot.

With the binoculars or the drone, you can reveal the Unidad enemies and devise a strategy to take them out.
Since the soldiers are usually positioned individually, you can take them out one by one with the right timing without triggering an alarm.

Your target is a small building next to a watchtower. We have marked it for you on the map:

From the landing point, you can eliminate most of the enemies in the base with a sniper rifle. In our test, we did this with the L115A3 sniper.
Once you’ve taken out the enemies in your way, you can proceed into the base.
In our test, we entered through a door located along the wall of the base. On the following map, you can see the exact position of this door:

Now you will eliminate more Unidad soldiers with the silencer that you encounter on your way to the target building.
If you, like us, went through the marked door in the wall, you must cross the square to reach the weapon crate.

In the marked armory, you will find the weapon crate with the Mk 17.
Loot this crate to permanently add the weapon to your collection.

In the area around this base, there are many warehouses where you can immediately try out your new assault rifle. If you like a lot of action, you can also engage with the Unidad on-site and test the weapon’s high range and precision.
