With Ghost War, cooperative gameplay from Ghost Recon Wildlands is taken to the next level. The 4v4 PvP mode brings new adventures to familiar terrain.
You have waited long for this feature and finally the developers are presenting it. A PvP mode in Ghost Recon Wildlands! Fans of the tactical shooter from Ubisoft have only been able to complete missions cooperatively and shoot NPC enemies until now.
In the new PvP mode, you will face “real opponents”. Choose between different classes like Tank or Scout and dominate the battlefield with them.

What a relief to finally see the official announcement of the PvP mode in Ghost Recon Wildlands. It was already clear that the mode was coming and that you would compete with four players against four other players. More details have not yet been shared by the developers. Until now!
The new trailer introduces the “Ghost War” mode, which will be available as a free update in the fall.
The new game mode “Ghost War” is supposed to take cooperative gameplay to the next level, as you now compete against other players together. A strong promise that many players are already looking forward to.
Ghost War is a deathmatch mode where two teams compete against each other. There are different classes like Tanks, Scouts, and Snipers, with which you can build your team. As always, the different classes have their advantages and disadvantages, which you should select according to your team composition and the opponents.
Locations from the main game have been chosen. These are large and offer many possibilities for tactical gameplay. The battlefields are located in mountains, deserts, forests, and other terrains that you already know from the missions. Different times of day and weather influences provide more variety.
New Features:
- There is a suppression fire system that restricts your visibility when being shot at.
- New sounds ensure that you can hear and acoustically locate your opponents better.
The new mode will be presented through a beta phase. You will, of course, get more details from us as soon as they are known.
