The first expansion for Ghost Recon Wildlands will be released this month. There are monster trucks, choppers, and cool missions!
Ubisoft announced today more detailed information regarding the first expansion of Ghost Recon Wildlands. The DLC is called Narco Road and tasks you with infiltrating a smuggling ring and its gangs to earn the respect of three new bosses. Additionally, new vehicles like monster trucks await you, with which you can take on racing challenges.
Players with a Premium Pass can access these new contents one week early.
GRW – Narco Road DLC Release, Contents, and Price
As the developers announced today, the Narco Road DLC will be released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on April 18 for owners with a Premium Pass. For all other players, the expansion will unlock a week later, on April 25, and costs $14.99.
You must earn the respect of three gangster bosses in Narco Road. Each boss controls a gang with its own identity:
- The adventurous Kamikaze – Boss: Eddie Escovado
- The Jinetes Locos, who love muscle cars – Boss: Tonio Mateos
- And the Death Riders, who are possessed by Santa Muerte – Boss: Arturo Rey
In the Narco Road expansion, interesting new contents are available to enhance the gaming experience. This includes new types of side missions and racing challenges:
- More than 15 new story missions
- Four new types of side missions and racing challenges
- These challenges will bring you fame and followers. The more “followers” you get, the more popular you become with the gang bosses and get closer to your big goal.
- New vehicles like muscle cars with nitro boost are waiting for you. These were already shown in a DLC leak from last week.
- Planes for special acrobatic maneuvers in the air will be available to you
- Radical chopper motorcycles and huge monster trucks are also part of the DLC
- In addition to the new vehicles, there are four new outfits and nine weapons!
Weekly Challenges with Rewards
A free update will be available starting April 12 for Xbox One and PS4 players and on April 14 for PC players. This update activates the Live Season Challenges and new rewards for Wildlands. The theme of the first season is “The Rise and Fall of Unidad” and challenges players to complete Unidad operations.
The challenges of the first season will change every Wednesday. The season lasts for six weeks and gives players up to three unique rewards per week.
