This kill of a ghost car is currently a hot topic in the community of GTA 5 Online. After the driver was taken out by another player, the vehicle simply runs over the killer by itself.
What happened? In the online world of GTA 5, PvP happens frequently. In public lobbies, players can run into each other on almost any street corner. And as is typical for GTA, most players carry weapons with them.
Reddit user mohithawelia shared a funny clip with the community. It shows an incident from one of his online sessions.
With his car, he drifts across the street making donuts (he drives in circles with spinning tires leaving tracks on the road). In the process, he hits a player standing nearby on the sidewalk. After the hit player gets back up, he pulls out his shotgun and pumps a load of lead into mohithawelia’s body.
The driver dies from the shot, but the deceased online character remains with his foot on the gas pedal. Therefore, his car continues to spin in circles and, after the player’s death, hits the shooter with its rear and knocks him down.
This then leads to the shooter’s death. The ghost car, which was no longer driven manually, thus took its revenge.
What do the players say? On Reddit, the clip is well received. The video gathered over 14,000 upvotes in just 18 hours.

Some players asked about the model of the car; they wanted to get it as well. Even though the Enus Windsor Cabrio is not among the fastest cars in GTA Online in 2020.

On Reddit, user “Arnav2607” speaks up. He explains that he is the shooter in the shown clip. The players are friends and wanted to have a bit of fun. “I tried to buy a car and he ran me over while he was spinning donuts,” writes Arnav. Then he shot him in the head. “But I didn’t see the last part coming.” (via reddit)
