You can now unlock the new skin “Glow” and the levitation emote for free in Fortnite , gift it, or have it gifted to you. This works in conjunction with Samsung devices. We will show you how to do it.
What are these cosmetics? In cooperation with Samsung, Fortnite is currently giving away a free outfit and a corresponding emote. There have been such promotions with Samsung before. The IKONIK skin may be the most expensive outfit ever in Fortnite.
Now there’s new loot that you can also secure for free with older Samsung devices. The Glow outfit and the levitation emote.
How to unlock the Glow outfit?
Here’s how it works: Unlocking it is not so complicated. The important thing is that you own a Samsung device that is qualified. We will list the eligible devices for you below.
- Download Fortnite on your Samsung device via the Galaxy Store or Galaxy Game Launcher
- Start Fortnite and log into your Epic Games account or create a new one
- Go to the store. In the limited-time offers, you should find the Glow outfit. You can find these offers in the upper icon bar all the way on the right by the V-Buck symbol.
- It’s important that the shop is set to Samsung. Check that under Settings > Account > Shop
- Now click on the Glow outfit and select “Acquire”
- If you haven’t linked a credit card to your Samsung account yet, you will need to register one now
- The acquisition is free, the card is only for authentication
- After that, you can choose to secure the outfit for yourself or gift it. For gifting, the 2-factor authentication in Fortnite must be active.
- If everything worked out, you will find the legendary Glow outfit in your locker now.
Do you need a credit card? Yes, there is no other way for authentication for this promotion.
How long will the skin be in the store? According to Samsung, the Glow outfit will be available until the end of February 2020. However, the date could change. The Glow skin can only be awarded once per account.
These €1000 skins were exploited by Fortnite players, and Samsung reacted.
Which Samsung devices are required for the Glow skin?
According to Samsung, the following devices qualify you for the free acquisition of the skin:
- Samsung Galaxy Note 10, Note 10+ or Note 10+ 5G
- Note 9, S9, S9+
- Note 8, S8, S8+ or S8 Active
- S7, S7 Edge, S7 Active
- Tab S6
- Tab S4
- Tab S3 or Tab S3 Wifi
- A9, A70, A80, A90
