In Pokémon GO, there are 4 raid events waiting for you in June! You can fight the legendary Pokémon Kyogre and Cresselia during special raid weeks.
What kind of events are these? This type of events is already known. Starting with the legendary lunch break, this type of event has now turned into a raid hour for the evening.
In June, there will be such an event every Wednesday. You will then have the chance for increased 5-star raids for one hour each time.
Raid Hours in June – Times, Pokémon, and Bonuses
When do the raid hours start? It starts this Wednesday. Then you will have the chance to participate in such an event every week. The events run from 6 PM to 7 PM each time.
- June 5: Legendary Raid Hour with Cresselia
- June 12: Legendary Raid Hour with Cresselia
- June 19: Legendary Raid Hour with Kyogre
- June 26: Legendary Raid Hour with Kyogre
What raids are available in the event? During the raid hours, legendary raids will appear more frequently. At exactly 6 PM, a legendary raid boss will hatch in all gyms, as long as the gym is not hosting an EX raid that week or another raid boss is already present in the gym.
Are the raid bosses worth it? Cresselia is only useful because of its shiny form. Regardless, it is not one of the best attackers and has rather poor stats.
On the other hand, Kyogre is significantly more useful. It can be shiny and is the best water attacker in the game. So it is worth having some strong Kyogre on your team.
How does this event come about? Niantic repeatedly emphasizes that this event will be tailored to the wishes of the community. The legendary lunch break was not very well received because many players had to work during that time.
After that, they moved these raid hours to the evening and received significantly more support. This now means that they will host the raid hour in June every week.
From Tuesday evening, the adventure week in Pokémon GO is also running:
