In Fortnite, a small update was released on Sunday. This brought the gifts. Here’s how you can find them and use the gifts to your advantage in Fortnite.
This was included in the mini-patch: On Sunday, Content Update #1 for Patch 7.10 was released. Two more content updates are expected to follow over the holidays.
Sunday is usually not a patch day, but during Christmas and during the “14 Days” event, everything is different in Fortnite.
The main content of the patch on Sunday was the new “gifts” for Fortnite: Battle Royale.
Where to find the gifts? The gifts are consumables that can drop from treasure chests or supply drops. The patch notes also state that they can simply appear on the ground.
How to use gifts: Once you have a gift, you can throw it like a portable fortress. A gift package will then appear. This creates a unique square instant room with four walls, a roof, and a floor. The walls have 450 hit points, and it takes 4 hits to break them.
If you break a wall and enter the gift, you can collect loot from the ground.
What’s in such a gift? Each gift always contains a legendary weapon or another legendary item. These are the strongest items in Fortnite: Battle Royale. There are also additional items included.

He recommends using a gift as a trap room in close combat to capture players and quickly rig the walls with traps. The walls already have 450 hit points, and enemies can hardly escape the room.
Pretty elaborate for a kill, but it’s a creative use of a gift.
